CBC is the only channel that Barbadians can view the World Cup games on – and rightly so!! It is astounding to most of Barbados that CBC is not carrying all of the World cup games. On Saturday, June 16th, they did not cover the game at 6am, and on Sunday, June 17th, they did not cover the game at 8am.
This is the MOST watched sports item in the WORLD!! Can you imagine the advertising opportunities?? That are being missed?? By a Corporation that is desperate for income??
Please exert your authority and together let’s make CBC work – for all of us!

I listened to The Minister talk about programs from the archives which is all well and good . However CBC should be used as an outlet for new creative energy. I am thinking they should work closely with the Errol Barrow Center for Creative imagation . Student would get hand on experience in all areas of producing films. Short stories, documentary, etc. CBC should be used to develop and show case the talent of Barbadian. We need Barbadian faces on TV and new faces . The energy of the youth should not be wasted. I believe an abundance of creative energy is there to be tapped. Similar to internship program at hospital . CBC can be the training ground for students pursing BA in Arts
