The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector, including the Labour Department and the Barbados Employment Career and Counselling Service, will be closed on Friday, July 10, to facilitate a staff retreat.

Members of the public are encouraged to register for the Labour Department’s half-day Industrial Relations Seminar being held on Thursday, July 16.  Participants will examine the Holidays with Pay Act 2017-3; the Shops Act 2015-30; and the Introduction to the Protection of Wages Bill.

The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector has advised that its offices on the First Floor of the Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael, will be closed on Monday, July 6, 2026, to facilitate a professional cleaning exercise.
