Barbadians who are interested in pursuing employment at sea will soon have the opportunity to do so at the upcoming Disney Cruise Line Information Session.
The session, which is being hosted by Meridian Recruitment Agency in partnership with the Barbados Employment and Career Counselling Service (BECCS) and Disney Cruise Line, will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
It will be held in the Main Conference Room, Second Floor, Ministry of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector, Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The information session will outline a range of exciting career opportunities which are available aboard Disney Cruise Line, including positions in housekeeping, lifeguarding, culinary services, and food and beverage.
This initiative forms part of BECCS’ ongoing efforts to connect Barbadians with international employment opportunities and expand career prospects within the global tourism and hospitality industry.
A representative from the Barbados Employment and Career Counselling Service said the session offers a valuable opportunity for job seekers to explore non-traditional career paths.
“This information session is an important step in helping Barbadians access opportunities beyond our shores. It allows individuals to learn firsthand about the requirements, expectations, and benefits of working with a globally recognised brand like Disney Cruise Line,” the representative stated.
Interested persons are encouraged to register, attend and learn more about how they can chart a career at sea.
