The second week of the pilot training for Government’s Job Start Plus Initiative will be conducted from Monday, January 20, to Friday, January 24, on the 1st Floor, Lecture Theatre, Warrens Office Complex.  

The training is being delivered to the same batch of persons – 42 youth between the ages of 16 and 24, who were trained in December 2019. 

They will receive training in the areas of Emotional Intelligence, Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Mock Interviews, Needs Assessment and Individual Career Counselling. Personal testimonials from young employers will also be included in the training session.

All sessions run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Training will conclude with the presentation of certificates of participation on Friday, January 24, at 1:00 p.m. 

Minister of Labour and Social Partnership Relations, Colin Jordan is expected to be in attendance.
