Barbadians will soon get the chance to register for job opportunities in Canada.

The National Employment Bureau (NEB), soon to be renamed the Barbados Employment and Career Counselling Service, will host a Registration Clinic at its Warrens Office Complex location on Wednesday, April 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This registration drive will not only be used to update the NEB’s database but will also serve to satisfy a number of job opportunities being offered through the Canadian Farm Labour Programme.

Registrants are required to walk with their Barbados Identification Card or Barbados passport and a résumé. Persons needing assistance with completing their résumés are asked to contact the NEB 535-1544, 535-1547 or 535-1554 to make an appointment.

Successful candidates must be willing to work hard, have a good eye for detail and good interpersonal skills. Although not a requirement, persons with previous experience in driving a forklift, truck or bus would be an asset.
