Job Start Plus is an innovative program aimed at bridging the gap between job seekers and employers in Barbados. This program is delivered by the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector through tailored training, career guidance, and direct placement opportunities, the program empowers participants to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
Training will focus on work force preparation and personal development skills and will include areas such as Effective Communication; Personal Branding; Work Ethics; Resume Writing; Effective Job Search Strategies and Interview Techniques. With a focus on inclusivity and growth, Job Start Plus collaborates with local businesses and organizations to ensure that every participant has the support they need to thrive. Please note that persons must be between 16-24 of age and NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a training institution or working full-time. Registration form must be completely filled out to be considered.
