The Labour Department has published a draft Summary of the Safety and Health at Work Act, Cap 356. It is hoped that this guide will help employers and employees better understand the objectives of the Safety and Health at Work (SHAW) Act and their corresponding responsibilities. The guide is intended for the use of all who have an interest in safety, health and welfare. It seeks to assist in the day-to-day application of the Act by providing a simplified version of its provisions.
