This section has been prepared to give readers with a need for labour related information an insight into the latest trends and developments occurring within the Barbados labour market.
For this exercise, the Ministry has researched, compiled and prepared a series of statistics and corresponding write-ups which seeks to analyse trends occurring within the Barbados labour market over the past ten years. This initiative is done through the identification of a series of labour market statistics which are commonly used to gauge the overall performance of the labour market. For most indicators a graph is supplied, in order that a reader can view fluctuations over time, in the movement of a particular variable. A table is supplied for each indicator which is followed by a brief write-up.
