Job Description:

In relation to the AGA, the PA will: 4. Report directly to the Secretary General, 5. provide support to the Local Organizing Committee for the 2016 AGA, 6. play a key role in coordinating AGA logistics and supporting resource mobilisation, including (but not limited to) a. Communication with stakeholders including CBU members, AGA presenters, exhibitors, sponsors, the conference hotel, venue managers and vendors b. responding to queries from stakeholders c. conducting research for AGA publications d. Coordinating travel, accommodation and per diems for the CBU President, Board members and SG e. Prepare, dispatch and file documentation relevant to the AGA including: i. drafting correspondence, news releases and notices to members ii. issuing mass mailings iii. maintaining an up-to-date registration list iv. maintaining an up-to-date sponsorship database v. taking minutes of AGA-related meetings vi. Preparing reports of AGA sessions vii. Preparing briefs for the CBU Board f. other related tasks. 7. Provide other services, within the respective field of responsibility and competence, on an ad-hoc basis if needed and requested by the CBU Secretariat. Confidentiality 8. Given the nature of the assignment, the PA is required not to disclose information gained on this assignment, in particular: - financial information - personal information about members of the Board or the wider CBU members The prohibition on disclosure of confidential information extends beyond the term of this agreement. Duration of contract 9. The anticipated start date is immediate and the anticipated end date is October 21, 2016, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement.
