Good Day,

I wish to suggest that policy regarding usage of the cross seats at the front of the buses be revisited and (re)instituted. Signage should be visible and the bus driver should be given the authority to stop the bus until those stipulated for the seats (elderly, incapacitated, pregnant, with young children, etc.) are able to sit. There have been instances where older person refused the seats but this is seldom the case.

I have personally witnessed, up until recently, that able bodied males and females sit in these seats with elderly persons and adults with young children literally tottering in front of them and refusing to move (on a long hall route like Sam Lords Castle).

If respect and common decency does not motivate these persons to give up the seats, then policy should.

Thank you.
