To reduce the cash and costs of managing cash counting, deposits etc, the transport board buses should be outfitted with wireless terminals which allows clients to tap and pay for their bus ride using contactless technology. Passengers can use their debit or credit cards to make payments and the transport board will be credited with the funds. This should help contribute to cost savings and boost revenue given the accuracy of the electronic payments.
