Hi
Can you please spare us the motoring public from the menace of those riders of off-road cycles that were registered for street use? Those cycles were not manufactured as street legal.
To mention a few deficiencies these cycles have when compared with street legal cycles:
- no rear view mirrors.
- no traficators
- no rear brake lamp assembly
- probably no horn
- probably no head lamp
To add to the irritations, the exhaust systems are way too loud for street usage. They are competition, off road system where noise levels are not a concern.
Di-registered all of them for street usage.
Get the insurance companies to cancel the coverage for street usage. They can be used for off-road competition purposes where the rider/owner must arrange transportation for them to and from the events. Insurance Cover for competition usage can be done.
Unauthorised use on the street should be severely punished by imposing heavy fines.
