To Whom It May Concern
For a number of years, I have recognised that, especially on weekday mornings during the school term, there is generally a heavy build-up of traffic exiting the junction by the Deighton Griffith Secondary School, making the required left turn onto the ABC Highway.
On many an occasion, this traffic stretches past the entrance of the Secondary School which appears to make it a very time-consuming and tedious process for those who find it necessary to utilize that road in an effort to make their way to work, school, etc.
Given this observation, my question is whether it is feasible for the relevant agencies to analyse and assess the situation, determine the importance/relevance of it, and decide on the necessity for a solution.
Possible Solution
Having noticed and identified what may be a situation that could be causing some distress to commuters on a daily basis, it would be remiss of me not to suggest (from a non-technical perspective) what could be a possible solution.
Given that there would be land/space requirements in order to affect such a change, any assessment that may be done could be performed with the implementation/installation of a merge lane onto the ABC Highway for traffic coming from the direction of the Deighton Griffith Secondary School in mind. Such an introduction could ease the build-up of traffic approaching the Highway from that direction making it more reasonable for commuters to utilize that junction and allowing it to function in a more effective manner.
Yours Sincerely,
Lyndon Robinson
