Barbados is a tourist Caribbean country, with a large experience, in spite of being close to several Spanish countries, Spanish people do not visit the country because of language limitation.
I am a Venezuelan that had the opportunity to spend 7 months studying English in 1994. At that time, I knew that many years ago, there were some private schools where Venezuelans ladies used to study English. It means that create a Spanish Schools could be possible, with Spanish native professionals, citizens of Barbados (I am sure you have many of them!) and some new Spanish professionals that know Barbados' culture, it is important in order to keep your values and good manners, that are essential characteristics of Barbadian people.
Another options is open a subject of Spanish for Tourism students at UWI, where Barbadians learn on Spanish languages and culture.
Any idea should be carefully evaluate for your and Barbadian authorities involved in Tourism.
I try to visit the country from time to time and enjoy very much your hospitality, because I lived among yours. Now, that Copa Airlines is flying to Barbados, to offer in Spanish and English information on Barbados, also prepare people on Spanish Language, could be attractive for Panamanians and other Spanish tourist, because Copa Airlines travel around Central and South America.
