Hi

I am not sure if it is the same type of seaweed ... but

Jersey Royal Potatoes  ...which by that name can only be grown on the island of Jersey get in part, their 'special'  taste  due to the fact that the very sandy soil  on Jersey is 'fertilised' annually with seaweed from the beaches

Jersey Royals are grown using a variety of potatoes called International Kidney ..which are commonly available

I am sure some of the fine dining chefs would be really pleased to have them available locally ...and so would I !!!

Best Regards
