Good day,
In the past and currently - due to an agreement made- Barbados is not allowed to recycle any of the garbage dumped here by cruise ships.
My idea- this needs to stop! Cruise ships cannot dump their garbage and their waste here, take our pottable water and sail off leaving us with overstuffed landfills.
I believe a program needs to be started where all compostible materials are taken for that purpose and made into compost to aid the agriculture sector (mix it with the sargassum?)
And all recyclable materials recycled.
Out landfills cant take anymore.
