The judicial system is badly flawed. Murderers, rapist armed burglars, armed robbers and repeat offenders being granted bail while petty, first-time offenders are being sent to prison says that the Barbados judicial system is severely broken. When a rape, incest, or domestically abused victim has to walk the streets in jeopardy of running into their abuser, that is a badly broken system. When an accused person has to be on remand for five or more years, only in the end to be cleared of all charges, that is an atrocity. Lost years and ruined reputations can neither be recovered nor mended. Will there be some kind of compensation for those individuals?
