- All houses MUST be fitted with smoke detectors and developers must consider earthquake readiness. New housing developments MUST have planned sidewalks.
- The length of time spent on the waiting list for government housing is ridiculous. Toughen up on delinquent tenants, reinvest and expand stock.
- Give tenancy agreements which are renewable let’s say on a yearly basis. Your rent MUST be up to date in order for it to be renewed. Too many residents think that once they take possession of a unit they are set for life and can ignore their obligations.
- Solar energy and desalination - light footprint.

- Introduce a tax similar to a council tax or home owners tax which would aid in the upkeep of Barbados' roads and for de-bushing the highways etc
- Introduce rent control, so that Landlord's won't price gouge tenants. Allow a cap of how high a renter can rent a house/apartment etc.
- Enforce penalties for landlords who rent without registering their property and legally bind all home owners to insure all of their homes. have enforcement Officers and enforce fines or jail time
