My ideas to rebuild Barbados start with the following:
- RECAPTURE REO (real estate owned) AND VACANT PROPERTIES AND LAY THE FOUNDATION FOR COMMUNITY REBUILDING
- Stabilize REO and Vacant Properties
- Maintain Vacant Properties
- Keep Existing Occupants in their Homes
- Return REO and Vacant Properties to Productive Use
- Promote Redevelopment Strategies for Large Concentrations of REO
- Catalyze Private Investment
iii. Rebuild the Housing Market
- Access to Credit
- Rebuild Neighborhood Infrastructure
