Here is a suggestion for the shortage of nurses.
I was made to understand that once an registered nurse works within the private sector they are not allowed to work at the government run health institutions. Free movement of nurses within Barbados will ease the work load of the already burnt out nurses working at the Psychatric hospital, this was significantly reduce the number of sick days. I am not sure of the other facilities but they were highlighted recently in the media.
A systematic process for recruiting our own Barbardian nurses ensuring registration and qualifications are in order prior to part time employment.
