In keeping with the ministry's health and wellness initiative, the ministry should seriously consider transferring all the trained midwives, who currently work at the Geriatric or Psychiatric Hospital to the polyclinic system with immediate effect. As this would help to increase manpower as the ministry of health is seeking to implement a 24 hr service at two polyclinics, also it would help to boost an improvement to the child health services that are offered.
