Many a contributor - potential beneficiary - may have suffered by being unaware, in some cases misled, in others, probably by reason of the manner of the administration of this institution, or perhaps the way certain regulations are framed and or interpreted.
Given these circumstances, I am suggesting that the Regulations where necessary be amended to require the Director to closely monitor the payment of contributions and especially where it is observed that a contributor appears delinquent, or is eligible to receive pension or any other assistance, the Director be required to make sufficient enquiry of the contributor personally to ensure, that having paid for benefit, then that contributor is notified of his / her benefit or obligation under the scheme.
I am aware that a deserving person has fallen victim to the inadequacy of such a requirement.
