Front loading washing machines use 1/3 of the water and about 38% of the energy that a traditional top loading machine uses.
It saves about 15 gallons of water per load of washing
I am recommending special duty concessions/income tax allowance/water bill concession for persons buying these front loading machines. These machines are much more expensive than traditional machines and hence not as commonly used
