Each year the Government of Barbados provides Student Revolving Loans to those who meet the criteria yet on completion of courses which may cost as much as $30,000 (masters level) there is no work for those graduands. These graduands are still expected to repay loans on what can oftentimes be called a meager salary.
I am suggesting that on completion of courses with such hefty costs that a system be put in place which allows graduands to be offered jobs based on their area of study in order to assist in the repayment of Student Revolving Loans and as a means of ensuring that the Government retrieves their money.
I am aware that job will not be available for all graduands but I'm also suggesting that this could be determined based on some particular criteria.
Yours sincerely
