The Health regulations in respect of the keeping of livestock in residential areas needs to be revisited. Residents are keeping livestock (especially pigs) without sinking wells, close to residences causing much discomfort. A permit specifying the areas for that such activity, the quantity of animals to keep, and proper waste management facilities in place for persons wishing to keep livestock on a commercial scale in residential areas.
