Encourage regular people, secondary schools, clubs to do poultry farming, you can offer incentives such as cheaper prices when they take them to the abattoir, maybe anyone who takes 25 chickens or more.
If more people would raise chickens or even pigs, maybe that can help take down amount we order from overseas.

We use a lot of foreign exchange to import chicken and turkey wings, they are not very healthy as a food source. They were originally imported for low income consumption. If you check out the prices in the supermarket you will see that poor people could not afford them. I think a stopgap should be put in place on these goods. Barbados produces some of the best if not the best chicken in the World.
