A campaign of adding more bus shelters also needs to be adopted. Currently adopt-a-stop has several in place, however they are only along certain routes. Meanwhile in more rural areas locals and tourists alike are left to either stand in the sun or rain while waiting on a late bus. The advertising spaces on these benches could be used to spread facts about Barbados,littering,etc. And with solar being outfitted on the newer bus shelters CCTV could possibly be installed, which would help expand the security grid across the island.

Once again with the renewed social partnership, either further sponsorship can be obtained to provide for more shelters and CCTV at hopefully minimal cost to the gov’t. The end objective would hopefully be full coverage of bus shelters for the country where both patrons and the transport board can monitor bus activity. And the service can be enjoyed safely and comfortably.
