The Barbados Labour Market Information System (BLMIS) is managed by the Manpower Research and Statistical Unit (MRSU) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. The Ministry is located at "Clarence Greenidge House", Keith Bourne Complex, Belmont Road, St. Michael, Barbados. The Minister is the Honourable Rawle C. Eastmond MP. The Permanent Secretary (Chief Executive Officer) is Ms. Shirley Farnum. The Chief Research/Planning Officer, in charge of the Labour Market Information System is Mr. Mark Franklin.

The MRSU engages in the publication of a number of labour market information related documents. These include:

In addition to publications, work centres on the MRSU's labour market outreach programmes which take the form of lectures, seminars and workshops. The Unit also conducts online and field investigative surveys in selected sectors of the labour market from time to time.
